Congratulations to the Durham PreK class of 2025! We are so thankful for all of the hard work from our students and teachers, we couldn't have done it without all of you. We hope all the knowledge gained in PreK brings your young learners success in Kindergarten and beyond. We know they will thrive in this next chapter! Congratulations to White Rock CDC who achieved National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) re-accreditation!
A New Beginning V
Congratulations to Ms. Carla Muhammad on being the very first graduate of the Durham Early Childhood Educator Apprenticeship Program! She walked across the stage at the May 2025 Commencement Ceremony for Durham Tech and received her Associate in Applied Sciences in Early Childhood Education.

A.S.K. Conference
Every year, Early Years hosts the Advancing Skills and Knowledge Conference for early educators across the state. This year's conference was held on Saturday, March 1st. Teachers attended informative and engaging workshops by experts in early childhood education.
