After the afternoon meeting and snack, children will choose an activity to do until their parent or guardian comes to pick them up. Similar to drop-off, parents or guardians will come to the child’s class to pick up their child. This also allows the teacher to talk to the parent or guardian about their child’s day, or update them about upcoming events. These check-ins may seem short, but daily conversations with families help build the foundation for a positive, meaningful relationship. This is also a time parents or guardians can express their concerns or ask questions.
